AFAP is operated by Western North Carolina artist, Joshua Niven. Joshua received his degree from The Savannah College Of Art And Design in 2012 developing expertise in Photography, Digital Processing, Sculpting and Painting. In 2013, he facilitated a photographic production during his thru-hike of the entire 2185.9 mile Appalachian Trail. Currently, along side his wife Amber they write guide books for Falcon Guides on the Appalachian Trail, The first being Discovering The Appalachian Trail and in process is a 4 book series that is Falcons first technical guide to the entire AT “The Ultimate Section Hiker Guide to the AT”.
